Problem phenomenon:
Unable to answer or hang up the call by sliding
Causes:
If the call/signal/network quality is poor, please first connect the diagnostic tool to check the signal network, and then follow the diagnostic results and the steps below;
1. The phone has a special protective film that affects the touch response.
2. The third-party dialer app is not compatible.
3. The phone system is lagging.
4. The VoLTE network for calls is abnormal.
5. The touchscreen hardware is faulty.
Solutions:
1. If you have applied a particular tempered film, it may interfere with the touch response, making it difficult to answer or hang up the phone. It is recommended to use the original protective film and keep the surface of the protective film clean.
2. If you are using a third-party dialer app, it may cause incompatibility issues. It is recommended to use the built-in dial pad.
3. If the phone system is malfunctioning, the call interface may freeze, preventing you from answering or hanging up the phone. In this case, restart the phone and update the phone system to the latest version.
4. If there is a problem with the VoLTE network, it is recommended to disable the VoLTE network and try again.
5. Please perform the screen diagnostics test.
realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Go to Phone Manager > Click on Tool at the Bottom right side of the screen/Tap on 3 dots on top right corner > Diagnostics > Select Screen > Run Diagnostics
realme UI 2.0: Go to Phone Manager > Diagnostics > Continue > Select Screen > Run Diagnostics
realme UI 1.0: Phone Manager > Quick Check start check > Select Screen > Run Diagnostics
realme UI R & S & T & Go & U Edition: Not supported
Touch the screen with 2 or more fingers at the same time. And check whether the number below matches the number of fingers used.
If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized realme Service Center for assistance.
