Log in to the Heytap cloud service and turn on the Data sync switch to upload local data to the cloud service.
Three sync/backup methods:
1. Cloud Drive:
You can backup images, videos, audio, documents, and files.
Backup principle: Manually select data to backup, Manual select data to restore.
Path: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Cloud Drive
2. Auto backup:
The phone auto backs up messages, call history, and System data(Recordings, Wi-Fi, System settings, Weather, and Clock) once every 7 days.
Backup principle: You would get a Backup record, after each time Auto Backup, choose a record and restore the data.
Path: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Cloud backup > Auto backup
3. Data sync:
Sync photos, contacts, recordings, private safe, and Wi-Fi.
Backup principle: The only method which can keep the data on the device is the same as the data in Cloud. When data is added to, changed, or deleted from the phone, the data will be added to, changed, or deleted from the cloud as well.
Path: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Data sync > Select the data you want to backup
How to restore data in a new phone or after all data was erased by Factory Reset?
You can sign in HeyTap account and restore your data by the sync/backup method you ever used.
2.1 Cloud drive: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Cloud Drive > Select the data you need and download them.
2.2 Auto backup: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Auto backup > Restore data > restore the data from the RECOMMENDED BACKUPS you want.
2.3 Data sync: Settings > HeyTap account > Cloud Service > Data sync > Select the data your want.
