Problem phenomenon:
Google Keyboard is not working, Gboard crashes or not showing while typing.
Solutions:
1. Restart your phone and try again.
2. Clear the cache and data.
realme UI 3.0 and above versions: Go to Settings > Apps > App Management > Gboard > Storage use then click Clear data & Clear cache.
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Go to Settings > App Management > Gboard > Storage use then click Clear data & Clear cache.
realme UI T & Go & S & U & R Edition: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info > Gboard > Storage use then click Clear data & Clear cache.
3. Uninstall Updates and try again. Developers frequently push updates to upgrade the features and fix the bugs of the app. However, there are often times that instead of fixing the bugs on the apps, the new update brings in itself a new bug.
realme UI 3.0 and above versions: Go to Settings > Apps > App Management > Gboard > Three dots on the top right > Uninstall Updates
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Go to Settings > App Management > Gboard > Two dots on the top right > Uninstall Updates
realme UI Edition & Go Edition: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info > Gboard > Three dots on the top right > Uninstall Updates
4. On the Gboard App info page, click Force stop and re-open it to try again.
5. Reset your phone.
If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please back up your data and bring your purchase certificate to the realme Service Center for testing.
