Problem phenomenon:
1. The phone is connected to the computer only for charging, and data cannot be transferred.
2. After the phone is connected to the computer, the phone prompts that the SD card is not detected.
3. After the phone is connected to the computer, the computer prompts that the installation of the driver failed.
4. After the phone is connected to the computer, there is no response from the computer or the phone.
5. The USB sharing function cannot be used after the phone is connected to the computer.
Causes:
1. The USB port of the computer is abnormal.
2. Some computers may be subject to strict information security control, and USB-related functions are prohibited.
3. The computer driver is not adapted to the phone or the driver file is abnormal.
4. The data cable is abnormal.
5. The phone is in the on/off process or in other modes.
6. Some scenarios require the phone to enable USB debugging.
7. The USB debugging authorization is abnormal.
Solutions:
1. Please plug in other ports to try again.
2. Consult the IT of your company or use other computers to connect the phone.
3. Install phone connection assistant software on the computer to try again.
4. Use other data cables and try again.
5. Restart your phone and try again.
6. Turn on USB debugging.
Step 1: Settings > About phone > Version information > Click the version number 7 times in a row to enter developer mode.
Step 2: realme UI 1.0 and above versions: Settings > System & updates/Additional/System settings > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging
realme UI R & S & T & Go & U edition: Settings > Additional> Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging
7. It’s recommended that you revoke USB debugging authorizations to try again.
realme UI 1.0 and above versions: Settings > System & updates/Additional/System settings > Developer Options > Revoke USB debugging authorizations
realme UI R & S & T & Go & U edition: Settings > Additional/System settings > Developer Options > Revoke USB debugging authorizations
If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data in advance and go to the nearest realme Service Center with your purchase certificate for testing.
