Problem causes:
1. The router is not connected to the network.
2. The router restricts the speed or the time period of the device’s internet connection.
3. Some organizations require a login page to access their internet. This reduces network congestion and allows only authorized users to browse the web.
4. The phone’s Wi-Fi settings for DNS certificate, and other parameters are abnormal.
5. The phone uses other proxy services that prevent it from accessing the internet.
6. Some applications have limited Wi-Fi permissions or the application server is malfunctioning.
Solutions:
1. If other devices cannot access the Internet after connecting to the Wi-Fi, it may be that the Wi-Fi itself is not connected to the network. Please check whether router’s light continuously is blinking. If not, please contact your internet service provider to solve the issue.
2. The router is set with functions such as network speed limit or Internet access control, which may limit the phone's Internet access. You can turn off the restrictions or reset the router.
3. Some public Wi-Fi (campus Wi-Fi, shopping malls Wi-Fi, etc.) require login. If this is the issue, you’ll find a question icon on the WiFi, and the system asks you to sign in. Upon pressing the button, you get directed to a page where you need to input your username and password.
4. The abnormal Wi-Fi settings may lead to the inability to access the Internet. It is recommended that you restore the network settings before use.
realme UI 2.0 and above versions: Settings > Search " reset Network setting" in the search bar > Reset Network settings
realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
5. If you are using a proxy service such as VPN, it is recommended that you close it and then check whether the network is back to normal.
6. If a single application cannot access the Internet, please check whether you have the Wi-Fi access permission to disable the application. If other devices cannot access the Internet with the same application, the application server may be abnormal. It is recommended that you report the corresponding application customer service.
Settings path: Touch and hold the app icon > App info > Data usage> Turn off Disable Wi-Fi.
