Method one:
If your realme laptop can boot into the desktop, reset the system through the recovery function that comes with the Windows 11 system to restore the system to its original state at the time of installation.
This method needs to keep the computer powered on, wait for the reset to complete, and enter the basic setting interface to operate.
1. Click on the Start menu > Settings.
2. Select System > Recovery.
3. Select Reset this PC bar > click Reset PC.
4. Click Recovery and select Get started under Reset this PC. Choose the method of factory reset according to your needs: Keep my files or Remove everything. Then follow the interface prompts.
Note: a. Select Keep my files (remove apps and settings, but keep personal files).
b. Select Remove everything (deletes all personal files, apps, and settings).
5. Select the method of restoring factory settings according to your needs: "Cloud Download" or "Local Reinstall".
Note: a. Cloud download: The machine needs to be connected to the Internet, and the Windows image can be downloaded from the Microsoft server.
b. Local Reinstall: Select the image backup file of the current machine.
6. For other settings, it is recommended to select the default settings and click Next.
Note: a. Delete apps and files. Do not clean the drive: Quickly format the computer disk.
b. Only delete all files in the Windows drive: There are multiple drive letters on the computer. By default, only the contents of the C drive will be deleted, and other drive letters will not be affected (if the computer only has the C drive, this option will not appear).
Note: The default selection will only delete all data on the C drive. There is still a risk that unexpected errors will occur and other personal data on the drive will be lost. Be sure to back up the entire personal data before operating.
7. If there is an update on the computer recently, this interface will pop up, and the Windows update cannot be rolled back after the system is reset.
8. When ready, you can initialize the computer, and finally confirm to reset all the settings of the system, confirm that the settings are correct, and click Reset.
Method two:
If your realme laptop cannot enter the system normally, you can press F8 continuously when the realme icon is turned on, enter the Safe mode, and select "Troubleshoot > Reset this PC" to enter the reset system interface that comes with the Windows 11 system.
1. Press F8 continuously when power on, enter Safe mode, and select Troubleshoot.
2. Select Reset this PC.
3. Choose the method of factory reset according to your needs: Keep my files or Remove everything. Then follow the interface prompts.
Note: a. Select Keep my files (remove apps and settings, but keep personal files).
b. Select Remove everything (deletes all personal files, apps, and settings).
4. Select Local Reinstall.
5. Select "Only drives where Windows is installed" or "All drives" as required.
Note: Select the first item to reset only the partition where Windows is installed.
Select the second item and all partitions will be reset.
6. Select Keep my files.
7. Click the Reset button in the lower right corner.
8. Wait for the reset to complete.
