If the laptop cannot be turned on or freezes during use, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
1. Exterior check
Make sure the air vents are not blocked and the computer is in a normal working environment. With inadequate ventilation, or in a work environment where the temperature is too high or too low, the computer may not function properly.
2. Software troubleshooting
Please confirm whether this problem occurs after installing a software. The third-party software may have system incompatibility problems, please try to enter F8 safe mode to uninstall the software.
3. Battery and charger troubleshooting
a. Please use the supplied charger to charge the computer and confirm that the computer can be charged normally. The computer may not turn on during low battery conditions. The computer has a 6% power protection mechanism. When the circuit controller recognizes that the power is lower than 6%, it must be connected to the included power adapter before it can be turned on normally.
b. Even if the charger is plugged in, it cannot be turned on. The possible reason is that the battery is low and the charger is damaged. In this case, it is first to confirm whether it can be charged, whether the charging light is flashing and whether it can be turned on after charging.
4. Please try the following operations to solve the system problems when the system is turned on
a. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to force a shutdown and then try to restart it.
b. If the problem still occurs after a forced shutdown several times in a row, please back up the data in advance and use the system restore function to restore the computer to the factory state.
*System reset to the factory will delete the data in the C drive (including personal files such as desktop files, downloads, documents, etc.), and the files in other drive letters will be retained. Please ensure that you back up your personal files located in the C drive.
5. It has been over 14 days since the laptop was last used, and the power button is not responding.
If the laptop is not turned on for 14 consecutive days after it is turned off, the battery will automatically enter transportation mode.
Note: Battery transportation mode: a battery protection mechanism to prevent the battery from being automatically turned on during the transportation of the product. The user needs to insert the power supply to activate the battery and press the power button to turn it on before it can be used normally.
