When you enter the system for the first time, you can set the power-on password according to the interface prompts. If you have not set a power-on password at that time, you can set it as follows:
To add a power-on password:
1. Click the desktop Windows icon > Settings icon and select Accounts.
2. Click the Sign-in options, click Add under the password column, and then add a new power-on password according to the interface prompts.
Change a password, use these steps:
*If you log in with a Microsoft account, due to the Microsoft security policy, the account password cannot be changed to an empty password.
1. Open Settings.
2. Click on Accounts.
3. Click on Sign-in options.
4. Under the "Manage how you sign in to your device" section, select the Password option.
5. Click the Change button.
When changing the password, you can also set the new password to be blank. After setting, when you log in to the system again, only your account name will be displayed without entering the password.
