Problem phenomenon:
The charger heats up when the phone is charging.
Problem causes:
1. Use non-original adapters and data cables;
2. Charge in places with high ambient temperature.
Solution:
1. Confirm whether to use the original charger.
Using non-original adapters and data cables, the voltage and current of some non-original adapters are unstable, which may be incompatible with the phone charging protocol, resulting in extra heat. It is recommended to use original adapters and data cables;
2. Confirm the charging environment.
Try to avoid charging in places where the ambient temperature is high (outdoors, in a sunlit car) or in places with poor heat dissipation conditions (on a sofa, electronic device cooling vents, etc.).
3. Use the original charger and the charging environment is normal.
During the use of the charger, there will be a certain amount of energy loss due to energy conversion, and heat will be generated. If it is used with fast charging and ordinary flash charging, the corresponding heat will be more. This is in line with the national temperature rise inspection standard.
If none of the above solves your problem, please go to the nearest realme customer service center for testing.
