Smart Lock lets you get right down to work (or play) without needing to remember passwords and security codes. It Works with your realme devices and select apps.
Setting method
ealme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & U Edition: Settings > Security and Privacy > More Security and Privacy > Extend unlock > Select your preferable choice.
Extend unlock is the new name of Smart lock feature provided by Google Android. Extend Unlock keeps this device unlocked when it's with you.
realme UI 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Password and security > System security > Smart lock > Select your preferable choice.
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Security > Smart lock > Select your preferable choice.
realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: Not supported
On-body detection
After you unlock your phone, it stays unlocked while it's in motion, like when you're walking with it. Your phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until you put it down.
Note: When you're on an airplane or boat, your phone could not lock automatically. Make sure to lock it manually if needed.
Trusted places
After you unlock your phone, it stays unlocked as long as you're at or close to a trusted place. Your phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until you leave one of your trusted places. For accuracy, this uses your precise location.
Note: Your trusted location is an estimated scope.
Your trusted location can go out beyond the walls of your home or custom place. It can keep your phone unlocked within a radius of up to 80 meters.
Trusted device
After you unlock your phone, it stays unlocked when it's connected to a trusted device listed above, like a Bluetooth watch or car system.
Your phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until it disconnects from all trusted devices.
When Smart Lock is active, you can force your phone to lock anytime. Just open the power menu and tap Lockdown.
Note: Make sure you're secure when using trusted Bluetooth devices
It's possible that someone could keep your phone unlocked by imitating your Bluetooth connection.
Bluetooth connectivity range can vary. Range depends on factors like your phone model, Bluetooth device, and current environment. Bluetooth connectivity can be up to 100 meters. If someone takes your phone while it's near your trusted device, and your trusted device has unlocked it, that person could access your phone.
