The Privacy password is used to unlock App Lock, Hide apps, and Private Safe. The password is stored in the security module, and neither the system nor the application can obtain it.
Setting method:
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0: Settings > Security and privacy > More security and privacy > privacy password
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Fingerprint, face & password > Privacy password
realme R & Go & S & T & U Edition: not support
6-digits password:
Click the lock screen password to enter the 6-digits password.
4-digits password:
Click the lock screen password to enter the page and click Use a different password type to select 4-digits password.
4-16 digits password:
Click the lock screen password to enter the page and click Use a different password type to select 4-16 digits password.
Pattern password:
Click the lock screen password to enter the page and click Use a different password type to select Pattern password.
Alphanumeric password:
Click the lock screen password to enter the page and click Use a different password
type to select Alphanumeric password. Enter 4-16 digits and letters.
Security question
After setting a security question, if you forget your privacy password, you can use the password question to retrieve it.
Set recovery email
After setting up a recovery email, if you forget your privacy password, you can use the secure email to retrieve it.
Linked account
Set up a Linked account. If you forget your privacy password, you can use the associated account to retrieve it.
Note:
1. To set a privacy password, you must set up a security question.
2. After setting the privacy password, it is recommended to set a secure email address and an associated account to avoid forgetting the privacy password and being unable to retrieve it.
