How to do with no sound, short or low sound issue of incoming calls

Problem phenomenon 1:

No ringtone when a call comes.

 

Causes:

1. The Do Not Disturb mode will cause the phone to not ring when there is a call.

2. The phone is in silent/vibrate mode.

3. The custom ringtone audio source file may be not compatible with the phone, so the phone will not ring when there is an incoming call.

4. System settings exception.

 

Solutions:

1. Turn off Do Not Disturb mode to try again.

2. Switch to ring mode to try again.

3. Change a system ringtone to try again.

4. Reset all system settings to try again.

Path:

Settings > Search "Reset system settings / Reset all settings" in the search bar.

 

Problem phenomenon 2:

Short ringing time for incoming calls.

 

Causes:

1. The custom ringtone audio source file is short.

2. When the incoming call is ringing, if the power button is pressed, the incoming call will be muted. This is a normal phenomenon.

3. If Flip to mute incoming calls enabled when the incoming call rings if the phone is turned over, the incoming call will be muted.

4. System settings exception.

 

Solutions:

1. Change a system ringtone to try again.

2. Avoid pressing the power button when there is a call.

3. Turn off Flip to mute incoming calls to try again.

4. Reset all system settings to try again.

Path:

Settings > Search "Reset system settings/ Reset all settings" in the search bar.

 

Problem phenomenon 3:

Low ringtone for incoming calls.


Causes:

1. When the speaker is blocked by foreign objects or the phone case, the ringing sound will be low.

2. The custom ringtone source file volume itself is too low.

3. Some third-party apps will occupy the playback channel. That causes the low ringtone.

4. Phone volume is too low.

 

Solutions:

1. Clean the speaker holes to try again.

2. Switch to ring mode to try again.

3. Deep clean the background to try again.

realme UI 5.0 & 4.0 & 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Additional settings > Process manager > Click Deep cleanup

realme UI 3.0: Settings > System settings > Process manager > Click Deep cleanup

4. It is recommended that you press the volume + button to turn up the volume.

5. If the above troubleshooting is invalid, please upgrade the system version to the latest version.

Settings > About device/ Phone, click the version number on the top to check for updates. If there is the latest version, you can download and update it.

 

If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data in advance and go to the nearest realme Service Center with your purchase certificate for testing.
