Problem cause:
After turning on the Always-On Display function, the phone will display the time and date and the Always-On Display style. The screen in the Always-On Display area is always on, and the power consumption will increase compared to before it is turned on. This is a normal phenomenon.
Solution:
1. Turn off the All day display and set the timed display:
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & 4.0: Settings > Wallpapers & style > Always-On Display > More display settings > Dispaly mode > Scheduled
realme UI 3.0: Settings > Personalization > Always-On Display>Display Options > Scheduled
realme UI 2.0: Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & Always-On Display > Always-On Display > Scheduled
It is recommended to set it to not display during your sleep time.
2. You can also set to Power saving display:
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & 4.0: Settings > Wallpapers & style > Always-On Display > More display settings > Dispaly mode > Power saving
realme UI 2.0: Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & Always-On Display > Always-On Display > Power saving
After you turn on the power-saving display, the Always-On display will disappear automatically after you have left the phone for a period of time. It can reduce the power consumption of your phone.
3. When you put the device into a pocket and other scenarios where the distance sensor is blocked, the display will automatically turn off, and when you take it out of your pocket, the display will automatically turn on to save power.
