Wi-Fi connection failure

Problem phenomenon:

Wi-Fi connection failure (manual connection failure / automatic connection failure / hidden AP connection failure)

 

Scenario 1: The router cannot be connected

(1)Password error

1. It is recommended that you check that the password is correct.

2. Please confirm if the Wi-Fi name or password has changed.
3. If you confirm that the password is entered correctly, it is recommended that you change the router password to a pure number, such as "12345678". If the authentication fails after changing to a pure number, it is recommended that you restart your phone.

(2)Network rejection

It is recommended to log in to the background of your router to confirm whether it has enabled the MAC address filtering function. For the detailed router setting method, please refer to the router instruction, or consult the corresponding router manufacturer.

(3)Network access full

The Wi-Fi hotspot may have reached the maximum number of connections, you can try to connect again. If it is a public hotspot, it is recommended to switch to other hotspots to try to connect.

(4)Disabled (network failure)

1. It is recommended to restart the router. If it is a public hotspot, generally due to network reasons, it is recommended to try to replace the hotspot.

2. Please confirm whether other devices have the same problem connecting to this hotspot. If so, there may be a problem with the Wi-Fi network.

(5)If the distance is too far, please connect within the effective distance of the Wi-Fi hotspot.

If the above troubleshooting still does not solve the problem, try backing up data and restoring factory settings or flashing the phone.

Scenario 2: Unable to connect, unable to obtain the IP address

1. The number of currently connected users may be too many, please disconnect other connected devices and try to reconnect to the Wi-Fi.

2. Please restart the router, restart the Wi-Fi or restart the phone, and try to access it again.

3. You can try to set a static IP (click on the right of the Wi-Fi connection  > IP settings > select Static).

4. If you still cannot connect after following the above troubleshooting settings, please try to connect to other networks to see if it is normal.

 

If the above troubleshooting still fails, try backing up data to restore factory settings or flashing the phone.


Scenario 3: Cannot connect to the router, prompting connection timeout

1. The number of connections has reached the upper limit, it is recommended to try later.

2. The network has restrictions on connecting devices.

Scenario 4: Wi-Fi cannot connect automatically

1. If the name and password of some Wi-Fi are changed, it cannot be automatically connected at this time.

2. If the other wireless network can be automatically connected, it may be that the number of Wi-Fi connections has reached the upper limit or the phone is restricted from connecting.

3. If the Wi-Fi signal is weak, which affects the Wi-Fi connection, please select a device with a strong Wi-Fi signal to connect.

4. Whether the Wi-Fi can be restored by restarting, it can be restored, it may be because the phone system is abnormal. It is recommended that you update the latest system version.
