When the phone is charging, it prompts that foreign objects or liquids are detected. Please unplug the charger and make sure the charger and USB port are dry. After cleaning, restart the phone.
Cause & Solution:
1. Use an unofficial data cable
Because the third-party data cable may cause abnormal pop-up windows due to the compatibility of the data cable, it is recommended that you use the official data cable and adapter for charging, which can get a faster and safer charging experience.
2. The charging interface is abnormal
Since the charging port of the phone is corroded after entering liquid, foreign objects, in order to eliminate potential safety hazards, the phone will prompt a pop-up window, so you need to check whether there is foreign matter in the charging port. If there are foreign objects, it is recommended that you turn off the phone first, clean the charging port in time, and clean it with dry paper towel or cloth (be careful to prevent paper towel debris left), and do not use the charging cable and earphone cable within 4 hours to allow the phone charging port to dry naturally. After cleaning, please restart the phone to confirm whether there is still any abnormal phenomenon.
If it is inconvenient to deal with, you can also back up the data in advance, and bring the purchase certificate to the realme customer service center and hand it over to professional engineers for cleaning.
3. Water enters the charging interface
If water gets into the charging port, try to place the phone in a dry and ventilated place, and use a paper towel to dry the surface of the phone. If the phone is turned on, press the power button to turn it off; if the phone is turned off, do not try to turn it on. Please remove the SIM card and memory card.
If the above methods do not solve your problem or you observe that the port appears to be corroded and moldy, please back up the data in advance, and bring the purchase certificate to the realme customer service center for inspection and processing.
