Introduction:
Independent dual system can help you balance work and life. Two passwords unlock the respective spaces, and data is completely isolated and kept secret.
Setting path:
Settings > Privacy > System cloner
I. The main system can delete the system clone
Operation path: enter the main system password on the lock screen page, enter the main system > Settings > Privacy > System cloner > Click dots in the upper right corner > Delete system clones.
II. Specific system cloner functions (you need to enter the system cloner to use the following functions)
1. Hide access to System cloner
After opening the hidden system clone entrance, the system clone entry in the main system will be hidden and you can only enter the system clone through an independent password or fingerprint on the lock screen interface.
Note: After hiding the system cloner entrance, if you forget the password, you will not be able to enter the cloner system. You can only delete the cloner system by clearing the data and restoring the factory settings.
Operation path: enter the cloner password on the lock screen page > enter the system cloner > Settings > privacy > system cloner > Hide access to system cloner.
2. Import/export data
A. Operation path: enter the cloner password on the lock screen page > enter the system cloner > Settings > privacy > system cloner > Import data > enter the master system password > select the data to be imported > wait for the import to complete, you can view the data in the secondary system.
Note: The imported contacts can be viewed in the phone contacts of the system cloner
Image and video import storage path: System Cloner > File Management > Phone storage /DCIM/SystemClone
Audio import storage path: System Cloner > File Management > Phone Storage/Music/SystemClone
File import storage path: System Cloner > File Management > Phone Storage/Documents/SystemClone
B. Export data: Support copying and exporting from the system cloner to the main system, you need to enter the lock screen password of the main system; the data supported to export include: contacts, pictures, videos, audios, and documents;
Operation steps: enter the system clone password on the lock screen page > enter the clone system > Settings > privacy > system cloner > export data > enter the system cloner password > select the data to be exported > wait for the export to complete, you can view the data in the main system.
Note: The exported contacts can be viewed in the phone contacts of the avatar system.
Image and video import storage path: main system > file management > phone storage/DCIM/SystemClone
Audio import storage path: System Cloner > File Management > Phone Storage/Music/SystemClone
File import storage path: System Cloner > File Management > Phone Storage/Documents/SystemClone
3. Cloning applications: Supports direct installation of existing applications on the main system without downloading.
Operation steps: enter the cloner system password on the lock screen page > enter the system clone > Settings > Privacy > System cloner > Clone application > Check the application to be cloned in the application list > Wait for the clone to complete.
Note: The system cloner does not support the App cloner function.
4. Share notifications
A. Share notifications to the main system: After opening, the main system can also receive notifications from the clone to avoid missing important messages.
Operation path: enter the system cloner password on the lock screen page > enter the system clone > Settings > privacy > system cloner > receive notifications sent to main system > enable.
B. Receive notifications from the main system: After opening, you can also receive notifications from the main system in the clone to avoid missing important messages.
Operation path: enter the system cloner password on the lock screen page > enter the system clone > Settings > privacy > system cloner > receive notifications sent to main system > enable.
5. Return to the main system
Click to exit the lock screen page, and enter the main system lock screen password to return to the main system.
III. For models that support system cloner, if the function is not displayed, you can troubleshoot as follows:
1. The realme UI 2.0 system supports system cloner, please update to the latest system version before checking.
2. The phone has entered the multi-user or guest mode, go to Settings > Users & Accounts > Multi-user, and select the administrator user to exit the multi-user or guest mode.
3. The phone has entered the system cloner. After locking the screen, enter the main system lock screen password to unlock the phone to exit the system cloner.
