What is Smart Lock?
Using Google Smart Lock makes it much easier to access your devices faster when you aren't too concerned about security. If you're at home, you don't have to enter your passcode every time you pick up your phone. However, this feature allows you to switch back to your regular security in public easily. Let's see how to set up Google Smart Lock on your Android phone and how it works. Smart Lock keeps your phone unlocked when it's keeping with you.
Before applying Smart lock please ensure your device should be protected with Screen Password/ pattern or face lock.
How to apply Smart Lock in realme phone?
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & U Edition: Settings > Security and Privacy > More Security and Privacy > Extend unlock > Select your preferable choice.
Extend unlock is the new name of Smart lock feature provided by Google Android. Extend Unlock keeps this device unlocked when it's with you.
realme UI 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Password and security > System security > Smart lock > Select your preferable choice.
realme UI 2.0 & 1.0: Settings > Security > Smart lock > Select your preferable choice.
realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: not support
Once the Smart lock is enabled, it will activate three kinds of modes.
1. On-body detection:
After you unlock your phone stay unlocked while it's in motion, like when you are walking within. Your Phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until you put it down.
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & U Edition: Settings > Security and Privacy > More Security and Privacy > Extend unlock > On-body detection
realme UI 3.0 & 4.0: Settings > Password & security > System security > Smart lock > On-body detection
realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Fingerprint, face & password > Smart lock > On-body detection
Note: On-body detection can't distinguish between you and someone else. If someone takes your device while it's been unlocked, they might be able to access it.
2. Trusted place:
After you unlock your phone, It stays unlocked as long as you are at or close to a trusted place.
Your phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until you leave one of your trusted places. For accuracy, this will access your precise location.

realme UI 3.0 & 4.0: Settings > Password & security > System security > Smart lock > Trusted place
realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Fingerprint, face & password > Smart lock > Trusted place
Note: To remove a trusted place Click on the added trusted place > Click Delete.
3. Trusted Devices:
After you unlock your phone, it stays unlocked when it's connected to the trusted device listed, like a Bluetooth watch or car system.
Your phone will stay unlocked for up to 4 hours or until it disconnects from all trusted devices.
When Smart Lock is active, you can force your phone to lock anytime. Just open the power menu and tab Lockdown

Note: To remove a trusted device Click on the Added trusted device > Click remove.
