How to do with slow mobile network

Update Time: 2024-10-18 11:26:22

The phone uses mobile data to surf the Internet slowly. First, please check the phone signal. When the phone shows that the signal is not up to standard, it may be that the signal in your area is not good and the Internet speed is slow. This is a normal phenomenon. It is recommended that you move to an area with a good signal. Go online again.

Dealing with slow mobile internet can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to improve your connection:

1. Phone Settings Issues

Data Service SwitchEnsure the mobile data switch is turned on. Swipe down from the status bar, open the notification panel, and turn on the mobile data switch.

Data Usage LimitCheck if the data used today exceeds the set limit.

realme UI 1.0 and above versions: Go to Settings > Search “Data usage limit” > Data usage limit.

realme UI R, Go, S, and T Editions: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Data warning & limit > Set data limit

2. Mobile Network Settings:

Pull down the notification panel, press and hold the mobile data icon to enter the mobile network interface.

Click SIM card > Access point names (APN) > Click the two dots in the upper right corner > Reset access points. (Note: The APN cannot be reset during a call, please hang up and then operate).

3. Operator Network Failure

If you and those around you are experiencing issues with mobile data, contact your service provider for assistance.

4. Phone Card Issues

Credit Check: Call your operator to check if your phone card has run out of credit. If in arrears, restart your phone after paying the fee to restore service.

SIM Card Issues:

  • Avoid using non-standard SIM cards or cutting the card yourself, as this can cause recognition issues or damage the phone. Obtain an original standard nano-SIM card from a business hall.

  • Avoid using metal or gold-plated protective cases, as they can affect signal reception.

If the above steps cannot solve your problem, please back up your data and go to the nearest realme service center for testing.
