Intellectual Property Infringement Complaint Guidelines

1. Infringement Complaint Process

1.1 Infringement Notice

If a rights holder believes that any content (including but not limited to pictures, videos, audio files, texts, functions, or related materials) provided by an alleged infringer on the realme platform infringes their intellectual property rights or other legal rights, they may submit a complaint to realme in accordance with the following requirements:

The rights holder shall submit written notification materials to realme, which must include but are not limited to:

1.1.1 Rights Holder’s Identification Materials

• Name (or corporate name), contact details, and address of the rights holder

• Business license (for entities) or government-issued ID (for individuals)

• Authorization certificates proving the rights holder’s legal status

• For authorized agents: A notarized power of attorney, Agent’s identification documents (meeting the same standards as above) , Employment verification for corporate agents (e.g., company authorization letter)

1.1.2 Identification of Allegedly Infringing Content

• Exact name and digital location (e.g., URL, package name, or unique identifier) of the disputed content

1.1.3 Preliminary Evidence of Infringement

(1) Evidence of Ownership: copyright certificate, trademark certificate, patent certificate issued by relevant authorized institutions; evidence of the date of first public publication or release of the work; manuscript; creation timestamp of the work issued by an authoritative institution; work registration certificate; other valid ownership certificates that can prove that the right holder owns the relevant rights.

(2) Evidence of Infringement: valid evidence that the content constitutes infringement of the copyright, trademark right or patent right of the right holder; written description of the basic facts of the infringement, etc.

(3) Access Information: Direct links to the infringing content.

1.1.4 Declaration by the Rights Holder or Agent

The submission must include the following statement:

"The rights holder or agent hereby declares that all provided information is accurate and legally valid. We accept full liability for any damages (including compensation claims, reputational harm, or litigation costs) arising from improper content removal based on this notice."

1.2 realme’s Response Process

1. Upon receipt, realme will conduct a formal review of the notice.

2. If the notice is deficient, the rights holder must provide supplemental materials within 5 business days. Failure to comply will result in the notice being deemed withdrawn.

3. For valid notices, realme will:

• Forward the complaint to the alleged infringer

• Implement temporary measures (e.g., content removal, service suspension)

• Request the alleged infringer’s response within a reasonable period of time

4. If the alleged infringer does not recognize the complaint of the complaint, realme will forward the relevant materials to the rights holder; if the rights holder has objection to the complained party’s opinions and the relevant materials provided, realme recommends that the rights holder resolve the relevant problems by reporting directly to the administrative department and filing a lawsuit with the court, etc.; if the rights holder does not receive the notice of further complaint or direct lawsuit from the alleged infringer within 15 days after receiving the materials provided by the right holder forwarded by realme, realme has the right to terminate the temporary measures taken in a timely manner.

 

2. Precautions

2.1 The term "rights holder" refers to the legal owner or authorized entity of copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.

2.2 In order to ensure the authenticity and validity of the complaint, the written notice and other relevant supporting materials of the rights holder should be provided in original in principle. If the original cannot be provided, a copy should be provided (the copy should have the signature/seal of the right holder). If the materials involve foreign countries, they should be notarized and authenticated in accordance with the applicable laws; if they need to be transferred, the transfer procedures should be followed.

2.3 The notification submission method to realme is as follows:

Scan all the above paper versions of the materials clearly, compress them and send them to the realme designated email address: ipservice@realme.com

2.4 If legal proceedings have been initiated, include relevant case acceptance documents with the complaint submission.
